I'm Keith Robinson, a practising artist, with an MA in painting from the Royal Academy of Art, London.

 

Like most of us, though I exhibit and sell my work, it is never often enough and, with internet sales growing at a phenomenal rate, it seemed a sensible idea to investigate artist directory websites with a view to joining one.

 

I found there are many websites with various ways of displaying work by artists but none gave a really comprehensive coverage with all the services I felt would be useful.   The logical step was to set up a site with all those services - and that's how The Art Partners began.   My aim was to create an easy-to-use portal with the artists always in control of their own mini-websites and contacts with purchasers.

 

Many months of design and redesign followed.   I think we have largely achieved our aim but there's always room for improvements so please let us know if you think of any!
